A homeless delinquent, Anastasia Sylva started her career as an A.R.C.H.E.R.S. agent rather unceremoniously. Through repeated effort and quick thinking, however, she climbed the ranks and became a crucial member of the association that sought to salvage and save others not unlike herself.

Alias: Anastasia “Anya” Sylva
Abilities: Streetwise reconnaissance experience; trained hand-to-hand combatant; trained weapons combatant
Affiliates: The A.R.C.H.E.R.S. Association
Background
Anastasia Sylva grew up in a dysfunctional home wherein she was constantly abused by her parents and older brothers. Her father, a military veteran suffering from severe anxiety and delusions of the apocalypse, forced her as a young child to learn weapons combat and survival techniques–skills she retained despite her hatred of their instilment. On her sixteenth birthday, her oldest brother assaulted her and permanently discolored her right eye with chemicals. She moved out that same day with a meager stash of savings and the clothes on her back.
Taking refuge on the streets of Manchester, Sylva connected with other unfortunate souls such as herself and learned backdoor skills including lockpicking and thievery. While homeless, she observed a masked man coming too and from the Nitro manufacturing establishment. The man turned out to be Archer, and he tipped her a hundred dollars to act as a lookout while he was away. Later that week, Archer collected the information Sylva had recorded, which included great details regarding the plates, people, and product coming and going from the facility. Impressed, Archer bought Sylva lunch and they conversed over a bowl of soup while getting to know each other. At the mention of her weapons training, Archer brought Sylva to a nearby military training arena where she further impressed him with her prowess of various firearms. Archer offered Sylva the position of a ground-floor field agent for his burgeoning association–a position which provided room and board–and Sylva agreed.

While Sylva’s hiring was initially ill-received by many of Archer’s peers, included association founder Johnathan Smoke, she quickly earned her merit thanks to her tenacity and streetwise perception. Coupled with Archer’s personal fondness, Sylva’s resulted granted her promotions hand over fist until she assumed the role of A.R.C.H.E.R.S. Second Lieutenant, working directly beside Archer and acting as his chief confidant when it came to field work.
Her personal and professional life became complicated when the A.R.C.H.E.R.S. Association adopted Elijah “Psycho” as an informant. Sylva strongly recommended Archer hire Elijah as an operative, as the association could benefit from his talents and provide him with necessary care, but Archer accused Sylva of relying on her sympathy instead of her common sense. Tensions only grew during the next following field-ops, but Archer eventually agreed with Sylva and hired Psycho as a field operative. Archer charged Sylva with Elijah’s supervision: a position that didn’t help matters when the two soon formed a tenuous relationship. While not always stable (or healthy), Ana and Elijah remained together throughout the remainder of their time as A.R.C.H.E.R.S. agents.
