Soulless. Emotionless. Ruthless.
The Chirotonians are among the oldest races in the universe. They crave knowledge and dominance, always seeking out new worlds to gather from. They are historians and librarians as well as soldiers and conquerors. Their history is written in blood.

The Chirotonians are originally from the Third World Kymar, a planet within the Andromeda Galaxy. Their history is fiercely guarded within the vaults of Tasoma, and so we know little of them. But we do know this:
The Chirotonians (k-EYE-row-tone-ee-ans) are vaporous beings. They can change their density at will, though they also change randomly. To help prevent their density from constantly shifting they developed armor, to both store and protect themselves in. They’re incredibly intelligent and lusty, for both flesh and war. The largest Chirotonian empire, Chiropt, spanned, at one time, half the world.
Advance! Advance!
13th Century Krishoni Helm
“The Chirotonians have built up and torn down hundreds of their own civilizations. Before the Empire of Chiropt was established, the Chirotonians had already see their great kingdoms of Azrok, Tarsuul, Malmanor, Krihlion, and Shanar rise and fall (along with many others). But after all these kingdoms rose and fell, and before Chiropt was established, the greatest of these kingdoms was the Krishonese Dynasty. The Krishonese Dynasty lasted over two hundred years, between the 11th and 13th centuries. It finally perished after economic collapse, at which point the Empire of Chiropt took its place.”
The Chirotonians quickly advanced, creating new war machines and battle strategies that would take other races centuries to develop. The Chiropt Empire eventually became the Gathered Affiliations, the center of the united world order. Under the GA the world of Kymar prospered. They colonized both moons, and eventually went on to claim their neighboring planet of Sylar.

Sylar and Erata
Sylar became the headquarters for the GA’s world conquering division. In following years an attack would be launched from Sylar against Elysium, the third planet of the system. Most of Sylar’s natural resources would be used to fuel the armada of warships being prepared for a galaxy wide campaign of destruction. The Chirotonians lovingly named Sylar’s moon ‘Erata,’ meaning ‘eradication.’
The Chirotonians went on to conquer the world of Elysium. They annihilated the natives, a race called the Spectrum. Elysium would be renamed New Chiropt, in honor of the first and largest empire. A large portion of the GA’s armada also went to capture the world of Artillery, but met resistance from the ferocious Artilleons. The Chirotonians were driven back temporarily, forced to regroups and resupply before setting out to war with the Artilleons again.
The Chirotonians created the Pax Chirona, a document saying that the GA will halt all world conquering operations until it can gather enough resources to sustain its projects while at the same time not depleting civilian resources. And so all world conquering actions stopped temporarily until the resources could be harvested. If it wasn’t for the Pax Chirona, the Chirotonians may have conquered most of the known universe, or driven themselves to extinction in the attempt.

The Chirotonians have developed technologies far beyond our understanding. They can bend space and time to their will, and can weaponize just about anything. But some Chirotonians are not hostile. One, Kor, travels across the universe mapping the stars and visiting planets. Another, Haze, travels through time to study and record the history of the universe.
But one thing is undeniable. The Chirotonians are a mighty race, unchallenged, and superior to just about all. They’re prideful, and have, at times, driven themselves to death in an attempt to conquer a territory or planet. They will not stop until they dominate everything.
The Tree Continuity
The Chirotonians conquer worlds in a variety of ways. In the Tree Continuity, a story line which takes place in an alternate reality, the Pax Chirona is never created, and the Chirotonians go on to conquer most of the universe. They come to Earth and plant a seed. This seed grows into a humongous tree which slowly cures all of humanity’s troubles, bringing an era of peace. But the alien tree turns on the humans, and while the people of Earth are in a false sense of security, the Chirotonians strike.
