Shae Tabitha learned the minute details of human behavior at an early age so intimately that she was at one point misdiagnosed with schizophrenia. Immersing herself in early online chat forums and social medias, she used the natural anonymity of the internet to shield herself from consequences as she began delving into the less-than-ethical side of digital interactions. Shae invested in enterprising technologies that allowed her to further manipulate peoples’ behaviors from a distance, a tactic that would later grant her the nickname Copycat.

Background
Shae Tabitha was always interested in how the mind worked. Growing up, she studied the actions of her erratic parents, forming comprehensive “mind maps” of their behavior and quickly understood the concepts of cause and affect. In middle school, she became so obsessed with psychology that she began creating constructs to fake interactions with. When fellow students spotted Shae talking to these imaginary constructs, she was admitted to a psychologist who diagnosed Shae with schizophrenia (a diagnoses which would later prove incorrect). Her parents, unwilling to pay for proper therapy or medication, urged Shae to contain herself and keep quiet in school. She graduated community college with a bachelors degree in computer sciences and an associates degree in psychology.
Shae moved to upstate New York where she integrated herself into an underground drug network, working as an asset to help keep routes clear and balance red books. After a falling out with her employer, Shae moved further northeast and worked as a freelance espionage agent, impersonating company personnel to steal and leverage data.

With the advent of deepfake and virtual reality technology, Shae invested nearly all her savings into stocks for the companies developing the technologies, often earning her leeway when it came to using prototype technology for herself. Shae notable used deepfakes to impersonate undercover S.K.U.L.L. operatives within Bluebird Pharmaceuticals, a play that garnered more than a little attention from S.K.U.L.L. itself. When S.K.U.L.L. contacted Shae, however, it wasn’t with a cease and desist; Captain Decker wanted Tabitha’s help with future projects.
Shae accepted Decker’s request and worked as an asset for S.K.U.L.L. until helping to found the Blue Market group, wherein she became lead technical advisor for the group. Under the employment of the S.K.U.L.L. and Blue Mark units, Shae helped free Maverick the Death Herald from the Serpent Facility and helped track down Phaedra Adonis (the Godmother). Members of the Blue Market have called her “impish” and “disruptive” at times, but those comments are quickly brushed aside with ringing endorsements of her unparalleled skill and adaptability.
