John Smoke first proposed Project Arc to Congress in 1991. It proposed the formation of a new task force to take care of terrorism, as well as a few other miscellaneous jobs. The idea was discarded, and discarded again in 1999, and in 2001. It wasn’t until 2007 that Congressman Jeffrey Brown agreed to initiate Project Arc. And Archer was born.

A decade later, in 2017, a mercenary joined the product of Project Arc: A.R.C.H.E.R.S. His name was John Smoke Jr., and his mission was to keep his father’s dream alive.

Real Name: John Smoke Junior

Abilities: Expert marksman with both traditional and advanced weapons; weapons expert; trained in hand-to-hand combat

John Smoke served two tours in Iraq, and one in Afghanistan. Archer was his biggest inspiration. When he returned home he was able to join A.R.C.H.E.R.S., fulfilling his greatest wish. He swore to give everything to A.R.C.H.E.R.S., and do his father proud by keeping the organization alive and thriving. He quickly moved up the ranks, and even became Archer’s right hand man, the position that Captain James Evo once held. Archer personally trained John in combat, and learned him the crossbow. He was given the codename Crossbow, a name he’s held on to proudly ever since.
