The Revised Primus Edition

Destiny: Sagittarius is the end product of a passion project for creator Erik Williams and artist and writer Jir0. The project took several years and countless hours to create, but it was all worthwhile.

Publication and Distribution History

Work on Destiny: Sagittarius began in June of 2016, with production wrapping just days before its release on September 12, 2018. The graphic novel, being longer than anticipated, was split into two parts, the first being published right on schedule, and the second being put off until further notice. Part I was run by several executives and associates of TimberW0lf Studios who unanimously upvoted the project and helped it on its way to publication and distribution on TimberW0lf’s home site.
Multiple pages and scenes were revised for the Destiny: Sagittarius Primus Edition, unofficially released on December 11, 2018, and officially released on December 20, 2018.

TimberW0lf Studios fully acknowledges the rights to ownership for original Destiny creators Bungie. TimberW0lf Studios also recognizes the rights to ownership for the song It’s Not Over Yet, originally written by for KING & COUNTRY. TimberW0lf Studios also recognizes and acknowledges the rights to ownership for creator Erik Williams and his private and personal contributions to Destiny: Sagittarius. The studio would like to thank the above parties for the part they played in making the following graphic novel possible.

Artist and writer Jir0 has expressed his satisfaction with the end result, but also says that he’s looking forward to reworking some of the pages for the upcoming Primus edition, which will showcase updated graphics and rectified lore and continuity errors. The project was also something of an experiment as Jir0 experimented with variations of his style, resulting in sometimes simpler or more detailed panels throughout the comic. The comic was drawn in traditional pencil.
