The Peacemakers

Officially formed during the Apocalypse crisis, the Peacemakers is a conglomerate of independently operating heroes and vigilantes assembled for the purposes of defending the greater good and common wellbeing of the seacoast area. While several members had met, battled, and allied during previous instances, the Apocalypse of Wolfeboro was the first recorded instance of several superhuman individuals coming together for a common cause in defense of the public. While no official documentation or legal binding has ever been proposed to formally authorize the conglomerate and its members, the individual operators therein have an understanding of who among them have earned their place as allies and teammates. Members have established trust and mutual understandings within their ranks despite the redaction and continued masking of personal identities. Outside allies have even been announced as “honorary members” of the Peacemakers, though these titles are usually reserved for those who passed in battle or otherwise displayed brief but nonetheless heroic acts during crisis events in which the team was gathered. The Peacemakers use the traditional Christian mark of chi rho as their calling card and group symbol.

The Wolf-Man

One of the first to suggest the idea of individuals working together toward a shared goal, Wolf-Man became a de facto leader among the other Peacemakers due in part to his extensive experience in the field of supernatural combat. He’s also credited with inventing the title of the group, citing the famed Sermon on the Mount from the Bible in which Jesus calls “Peacemakers” to rise up and establish themselves. While sharing leadership roles in the group with the Archer and Visionary as well, Wolf-Man is frequently given more leeway and responsibility by other members and has even been called the “potentially strongest” of the team.

The Visionary

A member of the team by pure happenstance, Visionary quickly asserted himself as a powerful ally due to his ability to go toe-to-toe with other superhuman combatants because of his Corestone. Renowned for his part in the First Malourian Incursion and his prowess as a leader of the Xero Squadron, Visionary shares a natural leadership position along with Wolf-Man and the Archer and has earned the respect of his peers, despite his tendency to clash with other members of the team. Visionary usually abstains as much as possible from interacting and assisting other Peacemakers, often citing his legitimately overburdened personal life as his reason.

The Archer

With one of the longest track sheets and personal ties to the US government, the Archer was a natural candidate for Peacemaker status. Largely in charge of logistics and strategy during the initial Apocalypse of Wolfeboro, Archer later adopted a mentorship position among younger and less experienced members of the team in order to help them refine their skills and offer resources to lift up the group as a whole.

Psycho

While only helping with evacuation during the Apocalypse, Psycho later became a far more prominent member of the team throughout the Bloodmoon crisis due to his refined tenacity and efficient combat stratagems. While his degraded mental state and reflexive emotional and physical tendencies earned him some distain from teammates, others have praised and valued his selflessness and quick thinking. Naturally a loner and isolated operative, his years in the A.R.C.H.E.R.S. Association taught him integration methods that later served him well during scouting missions for the Peacemakers group.

Redclaw

Like Psycho, Redclaw initially clashed with other members due to his natural introverted habits and inability to work in a team setting. After earning the respect of the Wolf-Man, however, Redclaw quickly grew in comradery with other operators. His ability to quickly calculate power dynamics and his aptitude for technology made him an indispensable core member of the Peacemakers, and his insightfulness and colorful perspective contributed to his value as an independent voice within the conglomerate.

The Stalker

Another member who joined the group by happenstance, the Stalker as hosted by Blake Morrison was originally tracking affiliates of the S.K.U.L.L. organization, which eventually led him to downtown Wolfeboro right as the Apocalypse crisis began. Blake’s expertise around pharmaceutical substances quickly helped other members get a grasp of the situation to help brainstorm solutions while the Stalker’s power allowed him to help restrain and minimize damage during the conflict. Naturally at odds with most teammates due to his off-putting presence, the Stalker eventually became a core Peacemaker thanks to his unnatural abilities and handling of mystical and abnormal properties.

Blitz

While he didn’t participate in the Apocalypse of Wolfeboro, Samuel Core allied with the Peacemakers during the Bloodmoon crisis wherein he assisted primarily with both evacuation measures and medical aid. Having not worked with other members of the team beforehand, Blitz brought a fresh and nuanced view to the table with ample combat skills to boot. During and after the Bloodmoon crisis, Blitz singlehandedly tracked down and captured multiple members of the S.K.U.L.L. and Black Cross organizations, earning him respect and a permanent spot on the Peacemakers.
